Australia’s oldest medical research institute, The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research (WEHI) is a leading biomedical research organisation focused on addressing complex health challenges.
As a Graphics & Production Officer, I support researchers in communicating their work through clear, accessible design; translating complex ideas into visuals that promote research, support funding, and contribute to real-world impact.
A key part of my role is helping translate complex scientific research into accessible, visually engaging communication materials that enable researchers to share their work with global audiences. These outputs play an important role in increasing visibility, strengthening grant and funding applications, and supporting the continuation of critical research programs.
I work closely with scientists across the institute to take projects from initial brief through to final delivery, ensuring ideas are translated into clear and effective visual communication. This includes producing print and digital artwork within strict brand and accessibility guidelines, with a strong focus on accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all materials.
